Gynae no.2, 1st visit!

I could proudly admit that I have finally found my preferred Gynae! It started off that mum highly recommend me to see her Gynae who helped her give birth to 22 year old Abu, my brother. Initially, I was quite hesitant as I was worried this doctor might seem too old for me... But I'm more than happy to admit that my perception was wrong.

My experience started off where my n my brother, Ali arrived to Kpj Specialist Kajang at 845am...believe it or not, it took us a mere 15 minutes to get there which already gave me brownie points...Kpj tawakkal seems a little to far to travel to, and perhaps may slightly feel even more farther during an emergency situation hehehe... Parking was situated outside, but it's free, so I don't exactly mind the short walk... The consultant specialist clinics were all located on the first floor.

It didn't take us long to wait for the doctor since there was on,y one patient before us, and she was already in. Half an hour later, it was my turn. The doctor, Dr Balakrishnan greeted me with a jovial smile, he looked young although I believe he's passed 60 years old already. But he looked very sharp , and he was very friendly and warm...and I instantly felt comfortable. Took details of my pregnancy, and we went for my scan. He explained everything thoroughly and clearly with a lot of knowledge coming from his own experience... And took shots of so many angles of my baby! I even got a shot of my baby smiling at me! It was heavenly! I could also see that my baby had developed a lot! It had proper valves in his heart, a strong spine, stomach, defined fingers and toes, and facial structure. It's approximate weight is around 250gms...quarter a kilo... Not bad!

Overall, it's a very strong and healthy baby...alhamdulillah... Gender? Ahahhaha...I think I shall be keeping that as a secret right now...

Before my visit ends, doc gave me a few advice:-

1) to concentrate on eating more lean protein and drinking milk or dairy products

2) to lessen on carbs and sugar intake so that I shall not be diagnose with pregnancy diabetes

3) to exercise, ie short walks or swimming...

After I thanked him, I walked out feeling more than happy and proud...alhamdulillah, baby sihat...so I'm very happy. And also, I really could see a significant difference with doctors who has more experience, they really make you feel nurtured and taken care off. Can't wait till my next visit!
